"I'm creating something here for You, that's gonna be looked at twenty years from now, hopefully... The cake is gone, the dress is in a box, the flowers are dead, it's over for that. So for You to spend more money on that, then on actually the photographs... those aren't my clients. My clients are the ones that really feel, that the ultimate thing is the photography."
Joe Buissink, V.I.P. Wedding Photographer
1. What is your photography style?
We define our photography style as "wedding photojournalism with a touch of interference". Of course every second wedding photographer says that he has a photojournalistic approach, but it's not that simple. Many people do just candid or black and white photos which are not wedding photojournalism.
We move around the scene, looking and observing the people, their emotions, reaction but also lighting conditions, composition. Sometimes we interfere slightly to get a better photo but we do not distrub.
Every wedding, every photo, every documentation is different, it is not a collection of formals but a photojournalistic, emotional story.
2. How do you work?
We always work together as a team. That means that we can concentrate more on you and our work then on technical issues. We can also photograph the bride and groom in different places at the same time. Two photographers, female and male point of view.
3. Do you travel to destination weddings?
Almost all of our weddings are destination weddings. We live together with our hoses in the countryside in south-eastern Poland. Due to great interest in our photography, we travel a lot in Poland and whole European Union. We can both communicate in English and German (Konrad is a native speaker).
Our preferred destionation countries are England, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia. We are still waiting for a wedding in USA. :)
We require roundtrip airfare, accommodations, and possibly rental car - all this can be arranged easily by us, so you can 100% concentrate on your wedding. We usually come 1-2 days prior to your event to spot good locations for scenic photosessions which are an important part of our work.
4. What are your rates? What do you offer?
We offer you the complete coverage of your wedding day - we do not count the hours. 8-10-12 hours? It is your big day and we're here to document it! We also love sceninc photosessions. We cover the event together, that means two photographers with equal skills, good equipment and the sense for magic photos.
You receive an internet proof book, 90 prints 15x21cm (6x8in.), 10 prints 20x30cm (8x12in.), internet gallery, 200 photos on DVD, multimedia DVD presentation of 100 photos - the most important and beautiful. Photobooks and hand crafted Italian leather albums are extra.
Our rates start at EUR 1900 (USD 2900, 1500 GBP) + travel expenses. Our offer is very flexible and we can adapt any part of it to your personal requirements.
Please contact us for detailed information.
When are you available? When are you booked?
Usually most of the bookings in the summertime must be made about one year in advance some of them two years, especially weekend events. We have a calendar on our contact page where you can see all booked days of 2008 and 2009.
A deposit of 30% is required to secure your date and will be applied towards your balance. The rest of the balance is due after we present you the internet proof book.
